Shipping, delivery and payment
Prices
All prices shown on this website are final prices in euros and include VAT as well as delivery within our delivery area. No additional shipping or transport charges apply.
Delivery area
We deliver free of charge to countries in the European Union as well as Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. For deliveries outside the EU, import duties and customs charges may apply and are payable by the recipient.
Delivery time
Once payment has been received we agree a delivery date with you. Within Germany the usual delivery time is 3 to 7 working days; elsewhere in our delivery area 5 to 15 working days. We tell you about any deviation before the contract is concluded.
Delivery and unloading
Delivery is by freight haulage. Depending on the container and the access route we use a side loader, crane truck or low loader. We agree the unloading method with you before delivery.
Please make sure that
- the access route is passable and wide enough for an articulated lorry,
- the standing area is load-bearing, level and freely accessible,
- someone is on site at the time of delivery to accept the goods.
If delivery cannot be carried out for reasons within your control, the cost of a further delivery attempt may be charged.
Collection
You may collect the container from our Duisburg depot by appointment if you have suitable equipment. Select “Selbstabholung ab Depot Duisburg” during checkout.
Payment
Payment is by advance SEPA bank transfer. After your order we send you a proforma invoice with our full bank details and the payment reference. Once payment is received we reserve the unit and schedule delivery.
Retention of title
The goods remain our property until paid for in full.
Inspection on delivery
Please inspect the container on delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery note. Report transport damage promptly with photographs to Kontakt@containerhandelgmbh.com.
